Fintek is an IC design company with no manufacturing processes, operating purely as an office-based entity. Therefore, purchased electricity is the main source of energy consumption. In addition to regularly monitoring electricity usage to assess consumption status, feasible energy-saving projects are evaluated and implemented to effectively reduce energy use.

Water Management

Fintek’s water supply comes from Taiwan water Corporation, mainly for domestic use. According to the World Resources Institute's Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas, Taiwan is classified as Low-Medium (1–2), indicating stable water supply. The main operating site is located in Taiyuan Technology Park, and does not utilize groundwater or seawater. Thus, it is not considered a high water stress area. In light of increasing climate change impacts and water scarcity, the company continues to promote water conservation, monitor monthly usage, and strengthen management measures.

Waste Management

To prevent pollution caused by industrial waste, Fintek prioritizes source waste separation and recycling, while ensuring proper tracking of waste flow to comply with environmental regulations. As a low-pollution, office-based operation, we carry out regular administrative campaigns to promote waste classification and recycling to maintain office environment quality and protect nature. Waste output and storage data are reported online regularly in accordance with waste management regulations. Waste is categorized as general domestic waste and industrial waste.

  • The Company provided NT$300,000 in support for disaster relief efforts in Mataian Creek, Guangfu Township, Hualien County, including the provision of essential supplies, emergency financial assistance, and post-disaster community reconstruction.

  • Employee Salary Policy

The company has established reasonable salary compensation policies, including "Employment Methods", "Performance Appraisal Methods", and "Employee Welfare Methods". We conduct annual salary adjustments; allocate operational bonuses from monthly profits, and distribute them based on employee performance at the beginning of the following year to motivate employees. Structural salary adjustments are made timely to enhance talent retention and competitiveness.

  • Employee Stock Ownership Trust

The Company offers an Employee Stock Ownership Trust (ESOT) program as part of its employee benefits. Through the program, employees may make regular monthly payroll contributions, which are used by a trustee bank to purchase and manage the Company’s shares on their behalf. In accordance with the program’s design, the Company provides corresponding matching contributions to support employees in building long-term assets. 2. Leave System

(1) In addition to fixed two-day weekends, we grant special leave days based on seniority according to the Labor Standards Act; superior to the law, we provide adjusted leave days every year (in line with the schedule of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration) without the need for make-up work or leave deductions.

(2) When employees need extended leave due to childcare, major illness, or other significant events, they can apply for unpaid leave to balance personal and family care.

Our company has established retirement procedures based on the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act, clearly defining the conditions for retirement, benefit standards, and application procedures as follows:



Retirement System and Implementation

1. Labor Pension Reserve Fund – Old System

In accordance with the Labor Standards Act (old system), the Company established a “Labor Pension Reserve Fund Supervisory Committee” in 2002. For employees who elected to remain under the Labor Standards Act pension system or who retained service years under the old system, the Company contributes 2% of each employee’s monthly salary to the labor pension reserve fund, which is deposited with the Bank of Taiwan.

All service years under the old pension system were fully settled in 2022.

2. Labor Pension – New System

In compliance with the Labor Pension Act (new system), the Company makes monthly pension contributions of no less than 6% of each eligible employee’s monthly salary, which are deposited into the employee’s individual labor pension account. In addition, employees may voluntarily contribute up to 6% of their monthly salary to their individual pension accounts.

3. Eligibility and Procedures for Employee Retirement Applications

(1) Voluntary Retirement: Employees who meet any of the following criteria may apply for voluntary retirement: (i) at least 15 years of service with the Company and aged 55 or above; (ii) at least 25 years of service with the Company; or (iii) at least 10 years of service with the Company and aged 60 or above.

(2) Mandatory Retirement: Employees who have reached the age of 65, or who are unable to perform their duties due to mental incapacity or physical disability.

(3) Pension Payment Standards: • For employees with service years before and/or after the implementation of the Labor Pension Act, and for those who elect to continue applying the pension provisions of the Labor Standards Act or retain service years accrued prior to the Labor Pension Act, pension benefits are calculated in accordance with Article 84-2 and Article 55 of the Labor Standards Act. • Employees subject to mandatory retirement pursuant to Article 35, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 of the Labor Standards Act, whose mental incapacity or physical disability resulted from the performance of their duties, shall receive an additional 20% pension benefit in accordance with Article 55, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 of the Labor Standards Act. • For employees covered under the Labor Pension Act, the Company makes monthly contributions equal to 6% of the employee’s insured salary grade to the employee’s individual labor pension account.

(4) Retirement Application Procedures: Employees who meet the retirement eligibility criteria are required to submit a “Retirement Application Form” at least one month prior to the intended retirement date. Retirement shall take effect upon approval by the President and completion of all required handover procedures.

We plan training programs and performance evaluation mechanisms to enhance training effectiveness. Annual training courses are developed for various competencies, aiming to implement a structured talent development system. We also continue to promote E-Learning to foster diverse learning methods.

We provide a new employee training plan, assign mentors, and conduct on-the-job training. Human Rights Policy

To protect the basic human rights of all employees, Fintek Technology recognizes and complies with the principles set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. In addition to following international standards, we also comply with local labor and human rights laws in each of our operating locations. We regularly promote and educate employees on human rights and labor rights. A grievance channel is also available, with investigations handled responsibly and whistleblowers' information kept confidential. Verified reports will not result in retaliation.

Objective Provide employees with a gender-equal and diverse work environment, upholding openness and fairness. There is no discrimination based on age, gender, disability, race, religion, political views, or pregnancy. 2. Regularly review internal policies and procedures to ensure there are no discriminatory rules.
3. When a suspected case of discrimination occurs, the victim can file a complaint and follow procedures to protect their rights.

No Child Labor

Objective Comply with minimum age employment laws at each operating location and do not employ child labor.
Risk Mitigation Measures 1. Prohibit the employment of individuals under the age of 16.
2. Applicants must accurately state their birth date during recruitment, and identity documents are verified upon reporting.

Healthy and Safe Workplace

Objective Fintek Technology values the safety and health of employees, aiming to provide a healthy, safe, and caring work environment.

2. Provide health monitoring mechanisms such as temperature and blood pressure checks as needed.
3. Promote a balanced work-life culture by offering diverse activities such as Family Day, company trips, various club events, and fitness courses to enhance employee well-being.

Establishing Diverse Communication Channels

Objective Provide employees with diverse and multidirectional communication channels to promote company policies, systems, welfare measures, and activities. Employees can freely express opinions and receive timely responses and support. Regular labor-management meetings and suggestion boxes are set up to foster a happy and communicative workplace.
Risk Mitigation Measures 1. Labor-management meetings are held quarterly as required by law to ensure timely communication. Welfare committee meetings are held regularly to ensure employee benefits are carried out.
2. An employee feedback channel is established where submissions are forwarded to the responsible department for communication with the employee.
2025 Results Labor–management meetings are held on a quarterly basis. In 2025, a total of four labor–management meetings were convened to ensure that employee perspectives were fully expressed and that effective and transparent communication channels between labor and management were maintained.

[Internal Communication Framework] As part of pre-employment training for new hires, the Company provides compliance-related communications covering the prohibition of forced labor and child labor, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, working hours management, and the protection of humane treatment.

[Online Training on Information Security and Personal Data Protection] The Company conducted online training programs on information security and personal data protection, covering fundamental cybersecurity concepts, password management, prevention of information security incidents, regulations governing the collection and use of personal data, and data confidentiality principles. These programs aim to enhance employees’ cybersecurity awareness and to safeguard the security of the Company’s and customers’ data. Through company-wide participation, the Company seeks to strengthen its overall information security defense capabilities.

[Workplace Anti-Bullying Awareness Training] The Company conducted workplace anti-bullying training to help employees understand bullying behaviors, learn how to prevent such conduct, and collectively foster a friendly work environment characterized by open communication and inclusive management.

[Comprehensive Occupational Safety Training Programs] The Company provides a full range of occupational safety training programs tailored to different employee roles and workplace scenarios, including fire safety training, emergency response drills, first aid training, and general occupational safety and health education.

In addition, in 2025, the Company implemented human rights–related training programs for employees, totaling 307 training hours, with 195 participant attendances completing the training. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to focus on human rights protection initiatives and promote related education and training to enhance awareness, strengthen safeguards, and mitigate potential human rights–related risks.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Commitment

Through the implementation and enforcement of occupational health and safety management systems and regulatory requirements, we continuously strengthen safety and health management and regularly evaluate performance to build a safe, healthy, and friendly working environment. We are committed to providing customers with high-quality, safe products and services that comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. We also strive to prevent occupational accidents and promote health to move towards a friendly workplace and fulfill our corporate social responsibility.

Fintek is actively dedicated to promoting occupational health and safety. To reduce the occurrence of occupational accidents, we follow occupational safety and health laws and international social responsibility norms to continuously improve the safe and healthy working environment for employees, prevent occupational injuries and diseases, and reduce hazards in the workplace.   3. Occupational safety and health education and training are implemented according to relevant laws.
  4. Cooperate with Tai Yuen Hi-Tech Industrial Park every six months to hold "Fire Safety Seminar" promotion courses.
