  • Employee Salary Policy

The company has established reasonable salary compensation policies, including "Employment Methods", "Performance Appraisal Methods", and "Employee Welfare Methods". We conduct annual salary adjustments; allocate operational bonuses from monthly profits, and distribute them based on employee performance at the beginning of the following year to motivate employees. Structural salary adjustments are made timely to enhance talent retention and competitiveness.

  • Employee Welfare Measures and Leave

The company handles labor insurance, national health insurance, and labor retirement pension contributions according to labor-related laws and regulations. 2. Leave System

(1) In addition to fixed two-day weekends, we grant special leave days based on seniority according to the Labor Standards Act; superior to the law, we provide adjusted leave days every year (in line with the schedule of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration) without the need for make-up work or leave deductions.

(2) When employees need extended leave due to childcare, major illness, or other significant events, they can apply for unpaid leave to balance personal and family care.

Our company has established retirement procedures based on the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act, clearly defining the conditions for retirement, benefit standards, and application procedures as follows:



Retirement System and Implementation

1. Labor Retirement Reserve Fund - Old System

In accordance with the Labor Standards Act (old system), our company established the "Labor Retirement Reserve Fund Supervisory Committee" in 2002. For employees who chose the old system and have retained their seniority, we accurately allocate 2% of their monthly salary to the retirement reserve fund at the Bank of Taiwan.

As of 2022, all old system employee seniority has been fully settled.

2. Labor Pension - New System

In line with the Labor Pension Act (new system), our company allocates a monthly retirement pension for employees covered under the new system, at a rate not less than 6% of their monthly salary, which is deposited into individual labor pension accounts. Additionally, employees may voluntarily contribute up to 6% of their monthly wages to their retirement pension.

Training and Development System

 

Fintek’s employee competency development is designed around the challenges at various job levels and departmental skill needs. We plan training programs and performance evaluation mechanisms to enhance training effectiveness. Annual training courses are developed for various competencies, aiming to implement a structured talent development system. We also continue to promote E-Learning to foster diverse learning methods.

New Employee Training

Covers general courses such as company introduction, integrity operations, and human rights policy to help new employees understand our vision, corporate culture, and policies. We provide a new employee training plan, assign mentors, and conduct on-the-job training. Upon completion, employees submit a learning summary and feedback, and supervisors evaluate training outcomes. This helps new hires adapt to the work environment and integrate into the company.

Professional Training

Annual professional courses are planned to enhance daily job performance and strengthen employees’ technical and professional skills.

Management Development Training

Courses aimed at strengthening both employee and managerial competencies. The curriculum fosters diverse capabilities through a wide range of management topics.

In 2024, the total employee training hours reached 1,174 hours, with an average of 17.79 hours per person. This marks an increase of 809.5 hours compared to 2023. Based on the company’s strategic development and feedback from both managers and employees, we develop an annual training plan. Employees enhance their professional competencies and skills through training, enabling them to achieve assigned tasks and corporate goals.

Human Rights Protection Policy

1. Human Rights Policy

To protect the basic human rights of employees, customers, and stakeholders and create an environment of full human rights protection, Fintek Technology recognizes and follows internationally accepted human rights standards/principles, including the "United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights", "United Nations Global Compact", "International Labour Organization" conventions, and other international human rights conventions. We respect internationally recognized basic human rights and formulate our company's human rights policy according to these guiding principles.

(1) Providing a Diverse and Inclusive Work Environment

We implement workplace diversity without any unfair or discriminatory treatment based on gender, race, class, age, marital status, language, ideology, religion, political affiliation, place of origin, appearance, or physical or mental disabilities.

(2) Prohibiting Forced Labor

We respect employees' willingness and prohibit forced labor.

(3) Prohibiting Child Labor

Employment standards comply with the minimum age restrictions of local laws.

(4) Healthy and Safe Workplace

We provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees, jointly reducing workplace safety and health risks, promoting employees' physical and mental health, and achieving a balance between work and life.

We review domestic and international human rights-related conventions and major social issues, identify potential human rights risks and at-risk targets based on our company’s operational activities, and develop management plans based on potential human rights risks, implementing and monitoring the results.

Healthy and Safe Workplace

We conduct annual health check-ups for employees.

We provide health monitoring mechanisms, measuring employees' body temperature and blood pressure.

We conduct regular quarterly drinking water tests at the workplace.

Harmonious Labor Relations

We provide diverse and open communication channels, hold regular labor-management meetings, promote harmony between labor and management, create good labor relations, and effectively mediate differences of opinion.

We have established the "Employee Complaint Procedures" and set up a reporting mailbox.

As of the end of this year, four labor-management meetings were held to ensure full communication of opinions; as of the end of this year, no complaints were received.

Employee Personal Safety and Work Environment Protection Measures and Their Implementation

Fintek Technology is committed to maintaining employees' physical health and work environment, with important health management work as follows:

1. We conduct annual safety inspections of fire safety equipment in cooperation with the fire brigade according to fire safety-related laws.

2. We purchase commercial fire insurance and public accident liability insurance to ensure workplace safety.

3. We implement safety and health education training according to occupational safety and health-related laws.

4. We conduct "Fire Safety Training" promotion courses in cooperation with Taiyuan Technology Park every six months.

5. The company fully bears the cost of occupational hazard insurance and group insurance premiums to ensure the safety of employees at work.

6. The office premises are equipped with an access control system operating 24/7 to ensure the safety of employees' work environment.

Energy Management

Fintek is an IC design company with no manufacturing processes, operating purely as an office-based entity. Therefore, purchased electricity is the main source of energy consumption. In addition to regularly monitoring electricity usage to assess consumption status, feasible energy-saving projects are evaluated and implemented to effectively reduce energy use.

Water Management

Fintek’s water supply comes from Taiwan water Corporation, mainly for domestic use. According to the World Resources Institute's Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas, Taiwan is classified as Low-Medium (1–2), indicating stable water supply. The main operating site is located in Taiyuan Technology Park, and does not utilize groundwater or seawater. Thus, it is not considered a high water stress area. In light of increasing climate change impacts and water scarcity, the company continues to promote water conservation, monitor monthly usage, and strengthen management measures.

Waste Management

To prevent pollution caused by industrial waste, Fintek prioritizes source waste separation and recycling, while ensuring proper tracking of waste flow to comply with environmental regulations. As a low-pollution, office-based operation, we carry out regular administrative campaigns to promote waste classification and recycling to maintain office environment quality and protect nature. Waste output and storage data are reported online regularly in accordance with waste management regulations. Waste is categorized as general domestic waste and industrial waste.
