The F81486 is half-duplex RS485 transceiver that operates at maximum data rates of 20Mbps. The F81486 package is in 12-DFN (3x3 mm) and operating temperature is from -40 to 125゜C
The F81486 operates from 3.0V to 5.5V bus supply, while the logic supply voltage range is 1.2V to 5.5V. The wide common-mode voltage and low input leakage on bus pins makes the devices suitable for multi-point applications over long cables run.
All receivers have advanced failsafe protection to prevent oscillation when inputs are un- connected by defaulting to logic high output level. No external biasing resistors and termination resistors are required.
