The F75160 is a power saving switch for PC system application. The F75160 provide one event input and two switch control pins for stand by power usage. The control pins can be programmed by I2C interface for flexible application.

When system enters S3/S4/S5, F75160 can cut off the VSB power sources which supply for devices as LAN chip, chipset, SIO, codec, DRAM…etc. The PC system can be simulated to G3-like state when system enters S3/S4/S5 states. At the G3-like state, only the F75160 consumes 5VSB power source. Of course the F75160 also can turn on one of these switch pins or all pins for the different function requirement. For instance, if there is a low power consumption system integrates wakeup function, the F75160 can turn on one of VSB power paths for wakeup device.

Others, the F75160 are powered by power supply 5VSB and VBAT. It can memorize pre-state and pre-status even system enters G3-like (G3`) state. Finally PC system can easy to come back normal state from G3` by F75160 timing control and state detection.
